Which VPN Providers Take Anonymity Seriously?
Anyone have an opinion on PROTONS paid VPN service ?

It's decent. Although it leaves a bitter taste that they logged an IP address to help arrest a climate activist. The logging was due to a court order and related to their email product. They say that VPNs are treated differently by Swiss law and also that they could not be compelled to log user data for their VPN.

If you don't require port forwarding, I would go with Mullvad (they will disable port forwarding on the 1st of July) and if you require port forwarding, then Proton is the second best choice on the VPN market in my humble opinion.
Proton fixed many shortcomings over the past years e. g. they now support Wireguard.

What if I use OpenVPN with no log in a rented VPS who possibly allow torrenting?

It's actually not a very good solution. You would be the only one using that IP and if the VPS provider has any of your personal information (e. g. your payment information or to a lesser extent your IP) then that could pose a threat to your anonymity.

Mullvad is the best out there imo!
You create a Account without personal Data no name no email nothing!

Pay per Crypto, Cash or Card if you want to.

Easy and safe!

Mullvad does not support port forwarding anymore. So it's rather slow for torrenting.
For payment I can recommend their vouchers which you can find on Amazon or in other places.

But AirVPN and ProtonVPN are good alternatives with port forwarding.

AirVPN takes Monero and assigns you a fixed port.

With ProtonVPN you have to request the port via UPnP which can be annoying when it changes, because then you have to adjust the configuration of your torrent client.

There are usually sales for both at this time of the year (Halloween, Black Friday, Christmas).

I would be wise to steer clear of free VPNs and instead direct your attention towards the likes of ProtonVPN, Mullvad, and iVPN.

Ye Mullvad is my pick, anonymous account just generate a number which is ur account, payment by btc or even cash. And they have diskless servers, couldn't ask for more.
