Which Desktop And In-Program Recording Software To Use
#1
Hi guys, I recently got the urge to start recording videos and those videos -I want to upload them to Youtube or other video hosting websites.
I want to be able to record while inside of a video game or other full screen programs and I want to record my desktop. If I could switch between the two seamlessly, that would be even better.
I've searched for programs to use and there are literally tons of them and I simply don't know which ones to use.

Finally, I use TOR, the Onion Browser, to browse the net and its FAQ state that using TOR to download torrents is a huge no. no so, I'm kind of stuck. If there are any tested, trusted, free and exceptional, recording software, I would like to know about it.

PS: Any additional tips, tricks and help about recording and editing videos would be nice.

What about programs for editing videos, like cutting and pasting sections, adding effects, adding subtitles, etc?

I've heard that Photoshop is notorious for being incredibly complicated. I feel a bit overwhelmed thinking about using it.
