Where do I watch this "IPTV" stuff?
#1
It's something I had an interest in years ago but could never really figure out where to find them then kinda forgot since most things I wanted to watch was able to torrent anyways. But with Movie/TV companies being more uppity and smack in the mouth worthy than ever before lately it's renewed my interest what with it being all the rage again lately with India and Italy trying to censor the Internet for it.

Is there any softwares that I need install to watch the IPTV and does anyone know a list of addresses or whatever to put in that I can start streaming from please?

Lots of ways.

If you have GNU/Linux, chances are you can use a program called Hypnotix to watch certain channels.

The most popular method is to use an Android TV box with Kodi installed (kind of like VLC) and watch it there.

Yet another popular method is to substitute an Android TV box with Apple TV, Chromecast, or Firestick to watch stuff there. To be honest, that's unfamiliar territory, so you'll have to ask around.

My Android TV box is rather old, and I managed to secure it in 2017 for $30 CDN. Look in bargain bins and you should have no problem finding it.

Android IPTV boxes require add-ons that show different IPTV channels. You'll have to Google for them since I'm too tired to do anything; I'm too damn tired to do anything as of the time of typing.

And see here as well: https://pirates-forum.org/Thread-Ultimat...eaming-App

If all that seems too much trouble, you can consult shady dealers that can help you get a million channels around the world. My friend does that, and, according to him, it does wonders. You just need an Internet connection and some income as dealers don't work for free.

Well, I hope that's enough information and I shall wish you all the best.

Kodi runs smoothly on an rpi 4b as well, theres a dedicated OS for it called librelec. You can install netflix/youtube/whatever extentions in it from the repo, add iptv playlists (they are usually in the m3u format or they used to be), access your entire media from any machine library via samba, remote control the os from your phone- 10/10, would recommend.

Mind you, with an IPTV playlist or list of playlists, you can load it with VLC and stream from your laptop like that regardless if you are a win- mac- or free-tard

Now for IPTV playlists, i remember finding videos on google with instructions for other similar but proprietary solutions, with some pastebin links having 100s of links in it, most of them dead lol. But I could watch local public tv stations from most of the world.

And like RX says, google is your friend unless you are worried he gonna rat on you (google has been known to do that).

And now for the moment you've been waiting so patiently for (4rth result on google, the first three being paid services): https://u.m3uiptv.com/free-iptv-links-m3...0-01-2024/
This is updated daily i think. So maybe set up an rss script or something

Thank you, ill88eagle, and good points.

Now, installing Kodi to a TV box is as easy as installing a program into, say, Windows or Mac. You download the program, and then you open its installer, something which a default file manager on your machine should be able to do.

If you decide to use an Android Box, the extension is APK, like the ones in your Android phone and so forth.

That's all I have to say about that.

Kickass thanks a lot Big Grin I like to watch on my laptop so it's nice to know I can use the universal VLC for both my Mac and Win10 setups. Specially while travelling. I'm always through VPN on the clearnet side and in the onion realm right now for here and a few other sites that have that functionality so I'm not worried about rats aboard the ship.

I'll keep that site bookmarked, just found a couple good channels I really like. I've been out of the game for a while so appreciate helping me get my sealegs back.

Smooth sailing to all for the help. Thanks again.

There might be someone here who disagree, but I can suggest checking out /r/piracy and /r/FREEMEDIAHECKYEAH on Reddit. Specifically, the Megathread on /r/piracy could be of great interest to you.

That site is too censored so it's hard to find useful posts or reading past the wink and nod type posts. Plus the link Ill88 provided was good enough, I just wanted to dabble a little and not go full into it. I found some other people that use it saying the have some $5 a month service but that kind of defeats the purpose for me. It's neat but hard to find any reliable english ones except a couple channels that still occasionally drop out.

The latin channels are the best I can get and I have been using it to watch Spanish ESPN for premier league the past couple days and it works well. Specially getting to hear the announcer do a proper "Goal" scream, the english commentators doing it just don't hit the same.
