NES? Game Gear? Sega Master System? Which one?

Anyhow, I do like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series for the 8-bit Nintendo.

I should also say Megaman, but the fucker's too hard, no matter what stage you're on.

Most 8-bit and 16-bit games from just about every early-generation console can now be played on PC using console emulators. So basically whatever you want, you can play on PC now. The usage of platform-specific software is no longer really limited by the hardware you're using.

Super Mario Bros 3, hands down.

Other worthwhile mentions; Zelda 1 and Kirby, Kirby pushing that 8-bit machine to its limits.
