What am I doing wrong?

I know PDF files (when they are text) are impossible to turn into perfect epubs for reading on a tablet, but why are there borders on my strategy guides? I need to get it to full screen somehow.



I just want to open my Nexus 9 and have it not have any borders so I can finish this game with the guide.

The border at the bottom may be expected as the Screenshot was taken with a Nexu 6 which is longer, so I can understand the formatting there won't be as good, but there has to be a way to remove the borders at least a bit.

Anyone know anything, I'd appreciate it.

There is actually a large border around the entire thing, I probably should not have chosen a book with a white cover right?

If you look at the right side of the book, you can see the line where it ends, and where the white space begins. That goes all the way around. On a full size tablet like the Nexus 9 or iPad basically you have to pinch to zoom, which would be fine, but then page turning does not work.

If you used Calibre for the conversion process, you can try fiddling with the settings in Page Layout (via Convert books)
Perhaps choosing a suitable Output Profile may help.
