WWE Hell in a Cell 2022
#1
Anyone going to watch this? Anyone? RodneyYouPlonker, how about you?

I've just looked at the matches and it seems that there is only one Hell in a Cell match featured on the entire card.

My friend seems to be easily impressed/disappointed by reading the results. That, to me, is as plausible as a terrible joke, but even now, I seem to be turned off since the theme of the PPV seems to be very minimally-promoted.

Before, I can understand that you can be turned by how Roman Reigns was so protected in these two years, but not giving it a fair shake did seem laughable. Now, I am forced to side with my friend.

The card looks like it's something typically of a free TV, like Raw or Smackdown, with the only exception being Seth Rollins vs. Cody Rhodes. I saw a little bit of it, but I can't help just turning it off and doing something else with my time. It's a good thing that I did not sign on to the WWE Network to watch the PPV. Then again, the WWE Network has some good features in it like the On-Demand stuff. But my point is, I can't bring myself to give it a fair shake either.

RodneyYouPlonker, perhaps you can help me out with something as I do not regularly watch pro wrestling on a constant schedule anymore, but when was the last time Roman Reigns defended his unified titles since Wrestlemania? Never?

It seems that watching Star Trek episodes is a better option than watching American wrestling. Back to NJPW I go. Or AEW, if I'm open-minded enough.

OK guys, the floor is yours, but don't troll.

I'm downloading it right now.  Yes I'm going to watch this today, I have been keeping up with the latest Smackdown and Raw every week and I manage to find enough time to watch both of these shows especially Raw as I've watched it now for so many years.

Well I would say that the Cody Vs. Rollins fight should be good, bearing in mind I've not watched it yet and I'm going to watch it today I would say it's about 4 hours in total if you include the kick off. I did see quite a fair bit of AEW's PPV from last week the Jon Moxley, Bryan Danielson, Chris Jericho and Eddie Kingston + Friends was a complete bloodbath from what I saw and it was total mayhem I don't even know how they are supposed to film it when it's going on due to chaos.

WWE's Hell in a Cell I've got no idea what will happen yet, I'm not going to spend a single moment on Facebook either as I don't want spoilers and I won't be posting spoilers in this thread as I don't want to ruin anything.  The Asuka, Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair match does look good so I would say it's fairly worthy but you're right about how it seems to be like a regular match on Raw for example.  I think it does help if you watch these shows otherwise you'll get confused.  Roman defended his titles, as far as I understand at WWE's Backlash where he went up against RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre which also included his cousins the USO's Jimmy and Jey.  The match was pretty good but RK-Bro and McIntyre had no chance against the Bloodline but that's how it was supposed to go down it seems that Roman is having a bit of time out at the moment.  Bearing in mind that WWE's Hell in a Cell is technically not a major PPV (the major PPV's are always Wrestlemania, Summerslam, Survivor Series and Royal Rumble) I would say there's no major title defence happening on the cards at this even more just focused on The Cell as that is the whole thing and also just once a year and no more.  The next PPV will be Money in the Bank which is popular.  Possible that Roman Reigns might find an opponent for MITB, I would say that currently there is no opponent right now for Roman.  The USO's cheated during a match the other week and became the Unified tag team champions simply because Roman got involved in the match and from what I remember pushed Riddle over caused RK-Bro to lose on that particular day.  I guess that's what the Bloodline do they like to play dirty and if the referee didn't see interference then fair enough that's how it works.

There are a few other matches happening and the Madcap Moss and Happy Corbin match has been going on for quite a number of weeks now.  Also other matches from Raw and Smackdown that are taking place.  Lashley and Omos + MVP.  There has been some strange goings on lately what with more WWE stars joining at AEW and also MJF had an outburst on Dynamite the other day and swore very bad live in the Arena.  Not sure what has happened to MJF yet I'm not sure if he's fired or what it's what he asked for.

I wonder if somebody else might turn up at WWE one day like Cody Rhodes did.  I did think what if MJF turned up and shocked everybody in WWE, I think Maxwell is pissed off because other AEW stars get more money than he does, he said that he's the best at cutting promos on AEW like CM Punk is.

You know RodneyYouPlonker, you're quite a unique wrestling fan.

You watch WWE and AEW and you seem to never have a bad opinion of either company.

Many "wrestling fans" have low opinions about either one these days. You watch both and don't seem to be torn between the two conflicting companies.

I like you.

Thank you mate.  Same goes to you also I think you have a very good knowledge of wrestling so hat's off to you.

With that being said I can confirm that I've just watched this year's Hell in a Cell.  I have to say that it was very good and there's lots of interesting things to mention but I won't give spoilers...

The final match I have to say is hard to watch but it was very good and I was on the edge of my seat about who would win.

Overall I have to say I enjoyed it and I'm glad I've seen that now and I haven't missed it and I'm looking forward to what happens next it should be good.

Interesting what's going to happen with Edge and his new group "Judgment Day" I will be watching that more soon and I'm wondering who is going to be the next member to join?

Theory is interesting also, possible he could be the next John Cena in WWE who knows...

I wasn't disappointed with HIAC, it was good and I'm also looking forward to seeing Money in the Bank next.  Not sure what will happen with Roman Reigns, I wonder who is going to face him in a match at the next PPV.

Actually I was impressed with what Riddle did on Friday night Smackdown last week he took on the USO's and Sammy Zayn all at the same time and didn't back down the guy can fight, he's good and he's definitely the future of WWE, I just hope he does well.

Well, for those who are just clued in, in the following Raw, Edge is ousted and Finn Balor is the new member of "Judgement Day."

I guess it's going be a while until we see Edge again, or even more, Edge's last night in WWE might be the Raw that was this week.

Wrestling is a dangerous sport, many people lose their careers on a wrestling match if they're unlucky. Edge almost lost his years ago before making a return.

Even worse, people are known to die in a wrestling match because of a textbook move such as a belly-to-back suplex when botched.

I think Edge needs to re-evaluate his career right now. His feud with AJ Styles is all but dried up, and, while he can continue a feud with Balor, what good is it afterwards?

Definitely a re-evaluation, or at least consider another role in the company.
