I just tried using the Audio - Other category but it still just returned me to the upload page, with no error message.
Unfortunately there are a lot of bugs in TPB lately and users are having issues uploading for a various different reasons, for now though i suggest you try uploading without the PDF file as i'm pretty sure as with .txt files pdf are not allowed in audio, and report back here if it still fails to upload, we can then rule out that reason and investigate further.
OK thanks, yeah removing the pdf worked. I tried it in a few music categories including 'other', after I took the pdf out I tried it in audio books and it uploaded OK.

Glad it worked for you, just remember no .txt or PDF in audio category in the future

But instead takes me to https://thepiratebay.se/settings - which initially told me that my password (12 characters, letters numbers and punctuation) was too short. So I made a longer one (18 mixed characters0 and saved it.
Clicking Upload Torrent does nothing except leave me on the settings page.
Advice welcomed.
afaik it shouldn't be sending you to uploadbay.org, when you log in try paste this url in the address field and see if it works https://thepiratebay.se/upload

I got the uploadbay.org URL from hovering my mouse over the 'Upload Torrent' link, and then right-clicking and selecting Copy link.
The link to https://thepiratebay.se/upload that you gave took me to an upload page, and I think I may have uploaded my first torrent ' Top Hits Monthly Karaoke Pop September 2006, THMP0609 from BJtheDJ'; but if I search for that or any fragment of it I cannot find the torrent - and my Settings page still informs me 'You have uploaded 0 torrent(s). '
Is there a guide to good torrent upload practice for TPB? It used the torrent that I created for KAT with the normal trackers that I use, are there ny special trackers that I could/should have added?

I think we have a combination of issues here, try again using the upload page @ https://thepiratebay.se/upload and reduce the title to less characters (Top Hits Monthly Karaoke Pop September 2006, THMP0609 from BJtheDJ) i counted more than 64 characters including spaces which is the limit otherwise tpb upload will reject the upload and give you a blank upload page.
If as i suspect you cannot reduce the title on this particular upload because you have already posted it on KAT and elsewhere then remember for next time that too long a title will make your upload fail and just send you back to an empty upload page.

Try clicking new reply instead of reply saves all the other stuff being quoted

How long does it take for a torrent to show up on the site? I don't know if I have to wait, or if something went wrong. It seemed to upload fine, but when I search for it, I get no results.

If the upload is successful you will be redirected within seconds to the download page of your new torrent. I've also double-checked for you and there are no torrents associated with your account.
