The UK Government are planning soon in 2019 in April to block access to all Porn sites. They are planning to use several companies to enforce this. The plan, come around early April is to make sure that anybody who goes online in the UK who plans to try and access free porn sites will have to pass an age verification process where they will either have to upload ID to prove their age like a driving licence or passport to confirm their age or they will have to go and visit a local store where a shopkeeper will issue you with a special identity card. The shopkeeper will be responsible for allowing people of age access to free porn sites while anybody who results in under age activity will be rejected in their attempts. Once you have your access you can use it to pass the security system which will allow by using a special code to have your free porn internet access.
I believe this is going to encourage the use of VPN or TOR further in the UK as all these people who wish to view Pornography in the UK will have to do this under a special authorisation process. People who usually access these various sites are going to find it very hard to do this unless using VPN or TOR to gain access in that way instead and gain entry beyond the security systems that the government are going to employ.
If the sites don't agree to this security system then they will be blocked completely from access in the UK so the majority of people living there will be refused to access such sites in the same manner as they blocked most of the Torrent sites some time ago. I'm not sure why the UK government feel it necessary they have to now regulate porn sites especially free ones but I just feel that is an example of extreme censorship in the UK and may possibly follow on the same in other countries. The freedom of the internet, it seems these governments are trying their hardest to take away these freedoms. I'm sure this will cause quite a stir in a few months time. Many people don't like being told what to do and what they're allowed to look at online.

It's a stupid law that happened because of so called "Christian" fundamentalists. VPN or TPB torrents, all you Brits have to do is download as much free porn as you feel you need before April 2019, and just keep using the same videos over and over.
Or better yet make some money and move the hell out of Britain, because Theresa May is a disgrace of a leader.

But then, I can't think of a single major porn site based in the UK. It's not like the situation in the US, Germany and Russia. It wouldn't surprise me if Taiwan had more porn sites than the UK.
I can't see the upside of this for May, unless she is actively looking for new ways to piss people off.

This is no April fool prank, this is just the UK government at it again. While they are in power they plan on doing as many things as they possibly can. While they have the power to do these things, until the people of the UK decide that enough is enough and decide to kick these fools out then I'm afraid this sort of thing is going to go on and on. It is easily solved though by just bypassing anything to do with Internet Access on British Soil. Really the best idea is to use European access instead where at least all this is not being carried out the same, but for how long I don't know? Also not forgetting that Mrs May is the daughter of a Vicar so you can understand why she is against Pornography because it is against her Christian beliefs that she was brought up on. I would personally like to see her get the boot eventually, what with all this Brexit disaster also, the UK has suffered a great many problems in recent times. But then again what is to be expected while a Conservative government is in office anyway, this is what happens when people vote in such parties. I hear also that the Conservatives did deals with the Irish some time ago to gain a majority but the DUP don't agree now with the plans that Mrs May has and they are planning to vote against her Deal which to be quite frank is a deal that will make things worse than how they were before. Nothing to gain from anything to do with Mrs May's Brexit plan. Before the Tories came to power things were better then and now she just wants to make things worse. Kind of sad really a country that is going backwards not forwards...
Also and most importantly not forgetting that a lot of businesses are shifting and moving into other places to avoid the UK. Mrs May has driven a lot of these businesses in question out of the country to re-establish in other locations a bit like VPN the same where people are being forced to shift their online activity into another location to avoid all the trouble. Setting up business now to trade with the EU in the UK is such a bad idea now and makes a lot of people very paranoid about doing so, they worry too much about their future and they also worry too much about their business failing completely because of Mrs May so really time for them to shut up shop and shift their whole operation elsewhere. Mrs May has already done enough damage so far whether it is to do with Trading in the UK or Internet access and blocking websites. I think she just wants to make all the people in the UK miserable. Her ideas are not really the ideas that everybody else in the country all share the same...

Uh, check the history. The Puritans were the Protestants who tried to take over the Church of England in the 17th and 18th centuries. Some of them came over to America to start colonies that eventually became the United States. Burning women at the stake they deemed as "witches" wasn't exactly a "pure" action!

Maybe it's there way of saving carpal tunnel hospital visits by males? I mean, that has to cost a lot..
Anyways, hopefully people find there way to a VPN. The Brits govmnt seem to be on a power trip, first with torrents now this.. I wonder what Bitch May will decide next for her people online..

The bad thing about it, a lot of current sex workers who use websites to earn money, it seems that their jobs are at risk now so those people have to worry now that they might not earn any money in future if people can't access the sites like normal and don't know anything about VPN. May it seems want to put even more people out of their jobs and make them lose their work and what gives them an income. This I'm not surprised about at all.
