Tranfering XBox 360 game file
#1
I just downloaded an XBox 360 game file (.iso) to my laptop. How do I transfer it to my XBox console? And where do I place the file?

You have to do a lot of things.

First off, did the download include a .dvd file? I actually mean a literal .dvd file.

Then, get a modded XBOX 360, obviously.

If your XBOX360 was modded using JTAG/RGH, then you can use the hard drive inside by putting the game in an external hard drive and transfer from there to your XBOX360 hard drive if you want to do that. Since I don't have a 360 and am telling you what I know, I don't know how it's done actually. But the way I understand it, it's like that generally. I don't think you have to use the 360's internal hard drive, I'm not sure, I'm not an expert.

If your XBOX360 is "flashed," you will need a Verbatim DVD+DL disc, preferably (to you) a Sony Optiarc DVD burner, get the .dvd extension that you downloaded the ISO with, and, when using Imgburn, an image burner, double-click the .dvd file, or open it using Imgburn, and burn the ISO to the disc from there.

Again, the instructions are based on what I read elsewhere, even though I have done extensive research because next Christmas, I am ready to a 360. I had to do research.

Hope this helps somewhat. Just reply when you need something answered.
