I used torrentz myself, so I've been looking for a replacement for a few days.

That's the most "torrentz like" I've found but one thing I liked about torrentz was the links to the different sites the torrent was found on--so you could check for "native" comments. TP doesn't seem to have that. It does seem reasonably up to date though.

So I'll be interested to hear what you think of it after you've used it for a while.

I think that was an important feature as well, but as someone posted in another thread, most rifftrax are great quality.  I am going to miss it for other files though for sure.

^ seems fairly up to date, and it indexes many more sites than torrentz did (I'm not sure yet whether that is a good or a bad thing).

Perhaps most importantly it isn't claiming to be Torrentz. I'm not a fan of sites taking up the name of older sites, but at least they're honest about it.

torrentzeu.to does a better job with Demonoid and 1337X indexes than the original torrentz and updates fast too. Unlike the original torrentz, its engine doesn't handle hash codes as search parameters. Workaround: torrentzeu.to/40-hexa-digit-hash-string-here will return the download locations (if the hash code is indexed in its database, of course).

This has been very helpful, appreciated!  I had no idea those sites even existed but then again, I didn't need them until now.  I like the torrentz2.eu as that is just like the original and links to the torrent sites so you can read the comments on it.  Glad to know I have a backup though in case that one goes down as well.
