Happy for you ... the searches that I most do are for "x265" and "hevc" . If I cant get the results on one, I try on another. When I am luck to get the right results, the second page and on almost always returns the wrong date (from 2017). Its particularly a pain, when I travel on the weekend, and try to get up to speed with uploads. I loose a lot of them. and it does not matter if I use my desktop, phone or notebook. I also try on another internet (I have one and my building has a public one). So, it makes no sense thinking the problem is on the user end. Sorry for the bad english Smile

Did a search with what you mentioned and works fine as well with movies.

Very weird indeed, hope you'll find a cure.
It may be server side problem but if it works on some configurations then there must be a cure for it from our side as well.

Firefox, Chrome and Tor. Using the standard https://thepiratebay.org/ on the first two and http://uj3wazyk5u4hnvtk.onion/ on Tor and it's the same across the board. Both with adblockers on and all extensions disabled, searches simply do not work.

On Chrome browser try this plugin:

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detai...mhefphglae

And test with different character encoding, seems trivial but that's the only thing that comes to my mind now.
Every time clean browser cache and reload site after changing char encoding just to be sure.

I can see that the site search is using UTF-8 but try different as well.

@edit:

I noticed that when searching title "Wolfenstein" I had results only to the end of year 2017, it didn't bring my repack until I changed it to "Wolfenstein II", then all the new releases were displayed.

By just putting space in the search, it did work too but you have to put it in "", like:
"Wolfenstein "

So whatever you're trying to search for, just put it in this quotation marks and add one space character.
Hope it will solve your problem, fellow metal head.

@edit2: I have checked it again after couple minutes...

After cleaning the browser cache it worked again... I think something gets messy in the cache after some time.

Site INDEXING is completely broken. The site's Master File Table is broken. Until those is fixed, the search engine will ALWAYS remain broken. This is basic stuff, yet not a single bit of effort has been expended to fix the problem. A site reflects the people who run it and TPB search has been broken for nearly a year. If the site runners spent as much time fixing the site as they do punishing people who fail to sufficiently kiss their asses, TPB would be the best site on the web. Usually, I can get one, or two searches that pull recent torrents. Today, it's been 100% 13DEC2017 as the date of the newest 1st-30 results. Even worse is that when you browse, if you go back more than 33 pages, you get no results. Browsing now has a 1000-result limit. Commenting only works for some registered users. I haven't been able to comment in over a year.
I can duplicate these results on ANY computer (PC or Mac), or device, on every major OS (Windows, Linux, MacOS, Android and iOS) no matter the browser (IE11, Camino, Safari, Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Edge, Puffin, Tor). The problems are 100% in the site itself.
