The thing I love about Glen Or Glenda that you don't expect going in is that in addition to the absurd incompetence of Edward D. Wood Jr., it's also a very passionate plea for tolerance in a wildly intolerant time. Wood put every bit of his soul into it, which makes it not just hilarious but truly special.
