Currently according to my quick count TPB supports 30 results per page. My Suggestion is a user option to change the number of results per page on searches for example instead of 30 have options for 25, 30, 50, 100 and so on or maybe an option to display all current seeded torrents meaning no dead torrents would show up on the list. I suggest this be under account settings as not to detract from the current layout of the site.
The other suggestion I have is the ability to remove torrents from search results so say I have it set up to display the top 50 results from a search and I find several duplicates now I know which one of the duplicates I want I can simply hit an X next to the torrent to hide it from the search result and the next result (#51) will move to the 50th slot of the search result.
Of course this could be toggle-able since I don't know if it will require Javascript or not and those connecting via Tor, VPNs or Secure Browsers who don't wish to compromise security using Javascript aren't force to use it because of a new feature.
The main reason I ask is because I often search things by Record Label or Manufacturer or Distributor and often times the way people list something on The Pirate Bay hides the fact there are multiple if someone searched this way they would find Torrent #1 but if they searched another way they would find Torrent #2. The way I search usually results in Torrent #1 and #2 mind you my search isn't perfect sometimes I have to go looking for an exact title so that brings me to my third suggestion and probably the least likely to get implemented.
Required Fields. For example say they are uploading System of A Down - Hypnotize Album
This would improve searching and finding torrents so much more efficiently.
Artist Name:
Album Name:
Song Name(s):
Record Label:
Quality:
Format:
Year Produced:
Genre:
Just as an example even if it isn't required giving the option of the fields and allowing the field data to be used when doing searches for example if I search Lonely Day from the Hypnotize Album it will show a result for any Single Song but also the Hypnotize Album since the song I'm looking for is in the album.
Thanks for hearing me out.
