Hi! My question concerns the editing of re-encoded video, splitting the video into its separate episodes while retaining the soft-coded subtitles.
Example: I am currently encoding Naruto: Shippuden, up to Vol. 17, but so far, doing 1-4 (48 episodes, 3 discs per Vol.), each Vol. is put on the retail disc as one large episode (1:45:00+), even though I can choose an episode with the disc menu, i cant encode it separately.
My problem lies in the subtitles being broken when I split the file into its epi's using AVIdemux.
Im using .MP4 format, currently, but may change that to MKV since Im including dual audio ( English and the original Japanese), since MKV is a better container for more than one audio stream.
If anyone has experience or a tutorial on a solution, it would be greatly appreciated by me to learn your methods.
Thanks.
