Script problems
#1
Hi tpb,

I seam to be getting some strange action from the script; https://thepiratebay.se when I access the site.

I use NoScript for security and disable all scripts by default; sometimes the pirate bay works and some time the pages load as blank

If I enable the above script, I get redirected two weeks ago it was to uberproxy (i think)

I have done a clean os install since then and am stil being redirected when i load the above script this time to; bayporn.info, torrindex and scenerelease.net

System
-Windows 7 Pro Fresh install
-Tor browser latest release, no script enabled
-Avast

Help please

Are you sure you are accessing thepiratebay.se?

I'm not getting any kind of errors like that. I use NoScript as well.
As Q91 said, check if you are accessing the right domain, cos this is not happening. To me, at least.

I'm definitely accessing thepiratebay.se

I just tried to access it on a different computer #2 with a different internet connection but the same spec and setup as mine
And I've just been redirect to suprbay.info once I enable thepiratebay.se javascript on a blank page
Could this be an issue with TOR ? (I can't access the site otherwise as it blocked in Ireland)

Both computer are fresh install of windows 7 professional (Genuine and paid for copies)
Both accessing using new tor browser bundle
Both blocking java script
Both lead to blank page and where javascript ''thepiratebay.se'' is enabled
both redirect to a series of pages that look like proxy pages
neither computer shares the same network, any hardware or install disks

I'm going to try in a VM running Ubuntu & tor browser bundle after work on computer #1

I got same problem when I use Tor but not all the time. I think only some of the exit nodes redirects because what I did is disconnect/connect Tor until I got an exit node which is not redirecting.

That sound very like what I'm experiencing.. If its just Tor would a VPN be free of the issue ?

I have tried to recreate the redirection on computer #2 again and it works normally

Do you block JavaScript ? - lebeque

I also use NoScript, all scripts blocked except from TPB itself then I get the redirection.

I have had the redirection happen mid season after open 20+ tpb pages

Can a tor exit node cause this redirection ?

if some nods redirect different, they could fuck up the routing and lead you to a proxy?

I think the best solution maybe for me to keep a list of bad nodes and edit the config file for my copy of tor to prevent using them.

Thanks Smile

Btw: is the any change the piratebrowser already does this ?
