So I heard that If you access Netflix from another country, or spoof it from another country, you can watch things like CBS All Access and that DC thing on it because they host it on there and screw Americans out of it.
So which free VPN is best for watching these? Also, would a proxy service suffice? Like, is there a way to use TOR to watch Netflix?

Good question. I have tried a few VPN's, Hoxx VPN is the best one in general that I have used (Firefox browser version), but none of them have worked for watching videos on Netflix. It will allow you to log in and search as if you are in the country that you chose via your VPN, but when you click on something to watch it will tell you to turn your VPN off. Hulu used to let you use a VPN, but literally just last week it wouldn't let me watch anything either using my VPN. Maybe getting a paid VPN would be a better option, but I don't want to pay for one only to find out that it has the same problem.

I just tried using Tor, and it didn't work for either Netflix or Hulu. If you figure something out, please let us know.

I still couldn't get it to work, so I went ahead and got a paid service with NordVPN. It is only $2.99 a month if you do their 3 year plan, and they allow torrenting, and unblocking of Netflix and others (I just tested it on Netflix and Hulu with success). I am a bit of a cheapskate, but I think I'll stick with this one. I have been on and off the fence about paying for one, and decided to go ahead and do it.
