Rifftrax you can't sit all the way through

I have yet to find a movie I couldn't get through, with or without riffs. I might not have enjoyed them all but I can be a great glutton for punishment.

I have yet to encounter a riff I can't get through, I even take delight in cinematic abortions like Rollergator and Fun in Balloonland. (Though I do feel that FIB is one of the very Rifftrax where the guys' riffing just isn't very good. I still like watching it for how utterly bizarre it is.) However, there are a few MST3K episodes I doubt I'll ever wanna watch again. Right off the top of my head, Mighty Jack, Castle of Fu Manchu, and Radar Secret Service were all horribly dull slogs to get through, and seem to erase themselves from my memory even as I watch them. I can't seem to recall anything that happened in them even right after watching them. The only specific scene I can remember from any of them is some sort of heart transplant taking place in Fu Manchu.

Radar Secret Service is AMAZING. You hush!

The Starfighters. Now, THERE'S a movie whose banality is so profound, so intense, it's almost like getting a slight concussion.

For some reason I can't get through the KTMA, Season 1 and some episodes until Mike takes over then I seem to be able to get through even the worst .... I think Diabolik was rough and so was ODATMB

I like the KTMA episodes, but I'm weird, and I wouldn't suggest them to anyone but the most intense of the die hards.

You seem to do a lot better with "Diabolik" than I do with "Hamlet." To this day, I can't watch that episode without falling asleep

I think I got about ten minutes into High School Musical before realizing I'd picked up a magazine and was flipping through it. Didn't even remember picking up the mag so I gave up. It's like the movie forced me away through some paranormal mindfuck. It made me forget I was watching a RiffTrax! Even with the commentary I'm SO not the target audience. Mostly though, I can make it through any Riff, but I do tend to space out to sections of the musicals and some of the VODs. Also, the KTMA episodes were kind of a slog but as a diehard fan I owed it to myself to soldier on.

Ugh, I forgot about this. I think my brain was doing me a favor. This might be the very worst one.

Well, believe it or not, it took me five days to finish watching Mission Impossible II, with Quiptracks; not because the riffing was bad but because I just find action movies really tiring. I used to love 'em when I was a kid, now one explosion makes me want to take a nap, I guess that's what getting old ensues. But just to contradict myself (me hypocrite) I love Rifftrax of the Transformers, for some reason, the sheer retardedness totally works for me. I find the Karate Kid movies torture. When a Stranger Calls Back was just disturbing. One mst3k episode I rarely if ever watch is Teenage Caveman. I have no trouble watching Mighty Jack from the 3rd season, but the KTMA one is really 'difficult'. And I'll agree with TheDarkPrince2018, I'm able to tolerate anything with Mike more than with Joel (I love 'em both). I love Diabolik, but the fact this it was the de facto last episode makes me feel sad. I realize now that I enjoy the more slow, i.e. boring episodes/riffs such as Monster a Go-go, Red Zone Cuba, Zaat, Hamlet and The Curse of Bigfoot.

The only ones that a really cant sit through are movies that I just find too offensive.
Like avengers movies or jj abrams movies.
I hate comicbook movies and jj abrams so much that I just cant feel a good natured humor about them.
I'm not as tolerant as Mike and Bill and Kevin.

But sometimes they're so good that they actually DO hold my hand through a movie that I otherwise just wouldn't be able to tolerate.
Their jj wars rifftrax actually makes that watchable.
(I wish they would do the same thing to "fix" prometheus.)

But that was an exception becasue it didn't work again for the one after that one, I cant remember the name.
That movie just bothered me too much to play along to with it.
