RiffTrax Live Help
#1
Hey, everyone; longtime lurker, first-time poster here looking for a little help in collecting all of the RT Live shows. I've done some research, and if I'm correct, there are five live shows that are not available in their actual live stage show form, those being: The Room, Mothra, Starship Troopers, Godzilla and Anaconda. However, through browsing these forums I've heard tell there are fan-made versions of at least some of these that use the audio and video from the actual live broadcasts. Am I right in assuming those five are the only ones like that; and of those five, which ones have been restored to their live glory by fans? And does anyone have links to those particular shows (in 720p if possible)? I've managed to track down twelve of the live shows so far, but none of the five I'm talking about here.

These are the Live shows I have so far:
  • List Redacted for Space
I'll keep searching for the rest, but if anyone wants to help me out with a link or two, I'd appreciate it. I don't want to come in hot with my first post begging for links, so please excuse me if I'm breaking protocol here. If I am, let me know and I'll try my best to fix it. Thanks for anything you can help me with!

EDIT: Okay, so I jumped the gun making this post. I did some more research and found out the answers to my questions (I think). Apparently the fan-made versions of the six (not five) unavailable live shows are fan-recorded audio synced to the movies without the actual live footage. Also, I've managed to find links to almost all of the live shows; so, ignore everything I said before. All I need now is help finding the following live shows:
  • Plan 9 from Outer Space (found)
  • House on Haunted Hill
  • Santa and the Ice Cream Bunny
  • Sketchfest 2013
  • Sketchfest 2016
If you know where I can get my grubby hands on any of those, please let me know! I can't find them through searching here and can't find torrent versions with actual seeds. Thanks for any help you can give me!

EDIT 2: Wow, this was a tragic first post. I found everything I needed. Please ignore this blasphemy and continue with your daily routine. I cannot apologize enough for this vile, completely unnecessary endeavor. Please delete.

DEAR LORD! I have NEVER been so offended by an unnecessary post!

Just kidding. You'll find we're pretty chill here. It is a site dedicated to humor after all. But all the same...

WORSE THAN HITNER!!!
(Hitner had some good ideas, guys.)

Thanks. I felt like I just walked in The Alamo behind Ozzy and took a dump. But at least I finally have my complete RiffTrax Live playlist to fall asleep to every night.  Big Grin Not that it puts me to sleep because it's boring or anything; I just have a long history of falling asleep while watching these guys. MST used to come on at 10pm where I live when I was a kid, and I would force myself to stay up and watch the whole show to the point I developed a Pavlovian response. Every time I hear the 'twang' sound at the end of the credits song I yawn. Wow, I just realized that next year will be thirty years of me watching MST3K. Well, I'm off to go do old man things. There's gotta be somebody on my lawn or someone playing music too loud somewhere.

LMAO.

I wrote dozens of very angsty poems about this thread. I'll be collecting them into a book to be called "Let's See You Pretend to Like THIS, ASSHOLES."

Look for the movie adaptation in 2022. The part of me will be played by Danny Glover, Jonah Hill, Selena Gomez, and Nick Nolte at different points. Remember the Bob Dylan movie from a few years back? Kind of like that. But sexier.

Anyway, you're fine. This is a pretty keen group of folks.
