Verbatim stopped making their own DVDs a while back.
I use the newer Verbatims and find them pretty good, A coaster only once in a while, and dont go beyond 98%, and burn at lowest acceptible speed.
DVD+R, primarily for data.

I believe Philips uses the same type.

I dont use dual layer. I like a surface for labelling.

+R supposedly has better error correction. And I dont have a TV DVD player, presumably for -R , as I dont even have a TV. Tossed it out a while back as a space waster.

I like optical media as I ahve had too many HD's drop dead, and dont trust SSD.
