Looking for a copy of Fallout 2 V1.0, all I can find it GOG and 1.02 version.

I get why you would avoid the re-tailored GOG versions, but why do you want 1.00? It's notoriously bug ridden (your car randomly disappearing, fights getting stuck in endless loops, glowies in gecko turning hostile at random etc). You'd have to install a patch to make it playable, which in effect would turn it into 1.02

There was a rumour back when it came out that a town was patched out in 1.02 and I was hoping to debunk this myself.

I bought the game when it came out in the late 90ties (the CD is long gone now) and played unpatched until I ran into the car bug. I don't recall any city that got patched out. I do remember a random encounter with a huge cave full of raiders armed to the teeth which I never had in any of my patched replays - probably removed because of balance issues.

Anyway, checking https://torrent-paradise.ml/ there are a bunch of fallout 2 torrents floating around which you wont find on TPB. I downloaded one which seems to be the original 1.00 iso, but alas it's a russian release. In case you wanna give it a try:

Aaand, I found one in english: - 2 seeds, slow download but I got it in a few hours. The cd image format is arcane .img/.sub - my linux acetoneISO can mount it, but I have no idea about windows. The readme says:
