Lately when I tried to install Red Alert 2 on my Linux Mint machine, the fucking thing keeps telling me that it can't locate the "correct CD-ROM."
Let me remind you: the installation rejects before even asking for a serial, which I find odd. WTF?!?!?
I tried using two ways: Wine and Windows XP virtual machine. The reason I didn't use anything higher than XP as a virtual machine is that I don't think that's the heart of the issue.
I have tried the Soviet disc, and the Allied disc and the Yuri's Revenge is not touched.
I have downloaded a plethora of patches, cracks, and more stuff. I don't want to download anymore stuff. Waaaaaaaawawa, I know, I'm a baby.
Well, enough bullshitting. If you have anything that can fix the problem based on the leads I've given, do me a favour and expedite this matter.
