Mayonnaise1 thecellarHmm. Looks like they cut about 10 minutes out for the riffed version. And that's why I come here and don't go to Live shows anymore So, the Groot attack is gone, I'm guessing? that's still there, i haven't seen the other version so i couldn't tell you what was removed. Sure wasn't the nudity ?

Then it must have been gore like their riff of The Incredible Two Headed Transplant
Winterbeast is on blu ray in a set.....

Cheers & thx for this, some of us were loving and laughing at the unriffed Winterbeast some time ago, and it was “born” to be ravaged by MK&B. May your Valentine’s Day be filled with delights & smiles!

There’s a chunk edited out of the 1st (long) conversation between Mr. Plaid Vest and Comedy Relief Sunglasses guy which made oafish LGBT jokes. Also a scene focused on his dirty magazine, flipping through, just showing a dozen nudes and pages damaged from being “stuck” together, with no dialogue (nothing to riff there, really, except mocking the banality of it). More than half of the scene with “Groot” and the lady with the lovely bone-structure and cute perm was excised. It was merely more of her undressing/posing.
There was probably more than that too, but yes, cuts made.

It's just aggravating in that - I hear about movies like this and Lycan Colony, for example - and I'm interested in seeing them for a laugh but they're usually out of print and stupidly expensive when you can find them used. Getting them as riffs is a nice compromise.
But then they're edited because we're not adults and can't make up out own minds if we want to see this stuff.

I whole-heartedly agree. Often the cuts/editing would be laughably inept, too, such as in the case of the USA channel or TNT. Many people simply wouldn't watch certain films on those channels after realizing what the censors would do. At least Joe Bob always mercilessly riffed the censors for it. It's one of the reasons I love how much better archive dot org has become in the past years, keeping the proper versions of many films available.

That and Dailymotion. They even have a copy of The Astrologer available (speaking of clumsily edited movies)

Thank you very much for reminding me about The Astrologer! It looks psychotronically intriguing!
