I'm going to assume that he means the Mst3k episode, as I cant seem to recall it being riffed anywhere else. (which seems criminal) - anyway, it is one of my favorite eps, including Joel doing that musical number about Godzilla's family tree. 

I know I have it here somewhere. I'll  look...

I asked because the MST3K version is what, 480p max?  The Cinematic version of that episode (with the jokes, but minus the Shadowrama and host segments) is in 1080p.

Here's is my mkv encode from the best source I could find years ago, a DAP DVD ISO of a 1st Gen LP VHSrip.

Just load the magnet into a p2p torrent program and uncheck every episode except 213 Godzilla Vs The Sea Monster.

This mkv doesn't look much better than the mp4 but I think it is the source for the mp4 and thus should be as good or better than a lower bitrate re-encode.

The goal of this share is to collect the best sources for MST3K episodes that are not officially released on DVD, consistently encode them, and give them consistent names and meta-data. Cropping was carefully performed so the SOL segments weren't over-cropped and the aspect ratio was correctly maintained. The files are all x264 AVC video with AC3 audio and they each will fit on a standard 80minute/700MiB CD-R.

Except for 309, the sources were DVDs of fan made VHSrips and DVRrips originally from the Digital Archive Project (aka DAP). Episode 309 was a fan made S-VHSrip from a non-DAP source. Many thanks for providing these episodes!

Note, other than re-encoding the audio tracks to AC3 128kbps, no audio processing was done. They tend to be louder than the retail DVD tracks though some are closer to the volume of a retail DVD episode.
