Although Beta Version B1362 was released on 24 April 2014, it was not available through any of the sources I queried. However, Beta Version B1323 is available
HERE. Note that the demo version apparently does not contain the game launcher (according to user comments), and once you acquire the game launcher from the internet, you would still apparently only have access to 4 inline and naturally aspirated engines (again from user comments). These Beta versions are early developmental builds with limited functionality and features.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Automation is still heavily in development. There is already many hours of interesting gameplay to be had out of Automation, but some major features are not complete. Large updates are usually released every few months
