Private Internet Access - Worth it?
#1
I currently live in the United States and have been looking for a solid VPN. I've heard around to not use a VPN currently located in the place you live, but PIA seems pretty cheap and pretty well off.

Are there any of you that have/are using it currently? What are your opinions and is it worth 40 dollars a year?

Does it work well with torrenting?

Are there any outside of the US that are good and provide good safety?

I do not have personal experience with this VPN, no. I would recommend using one outside the USA for various legal reasons. There will be a negligible difference in speed in doing so, so it is in your best interest.

As to whether or not it is worth the money, that depends on your priorities. Are you looking for safety while downloading? Then yes, it is worth it. If you download four movies for free you have gotten your money's worth for the year. If you are looking for security and privacy, then yes, VPN's are worth it.
