Perfect size screen for a PC ?

I finally found what i believe to be the best size for a PC, 32"...

How about you guys, is bigger better or not.

My GF said bigger is better.

As for the screen, more than 27" is too much for the usual distance we sit in front of them for my taste.

40" works here, but it's more of a home theatre PC.

I think, the ideal screen size of the monitor is closely related to its pixel resolution. for example, a 19-inch screen with a screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels is good. 27-inch screen with 1920 × 1080 pixel screen resolution is also good. and so on.
If the screen is too small while the number of pixels is too much, the items on the screen will be too small to see.

You can adjust the size of GUI elements to fit the screen. For example there are phones with 4k resolution with only 5 or 6 inches.
Bigger resolution = smaller physical size of pixels = more density = more details.
Or something like that, read about this shit some years ago - can't remember.

You're probably talking about "Native" resolution, so 1:1 pixel per pixel with no down/up sampling.
Like for my laptop it's 1920x1080 but there are same screen sizes that can do 4k natively (1 to 1) resolution.
With high res you must just adjust DPI in the system so the font is not too small, you can adjust icons and everything else as well.

It depends on the use.

For Photoshop I like big screens, need to get minimum details and/or work with big images (like A0 size).
Glad I rarely needed to and will never do again.

For coding or text editing, dual monitors or a big widescreen is best, but a 19-22" will be comfortable.

Games? Simpler ones on a 15" will do, 25-27" is good, get triple ultra-wides if you're into car/plane stuff. Can't afford that and dual GTX 1070 Sad

So it depends on what one will do at a given moment. Currently I'm on two: A 15" 1366x768 notebook panel and a 32" 1360x768 HD TV/monitor.
Just use the big screen to watch videos, too much light on my face for daily tasks, but it would be ideal to have them both at the same resolution, Full-HD.

Also I use a smartphone to check on email, like MS's Sideshow project sugested, but that's not a monitor, just a sidekick.
