Whole family...no.
But you can play Quake, Unreal Tournament, older Need for Speed games, StarCraft 1, Warcraft 3. All of these require minimal effort to set up and play and are established classics on LAN parties.

If you've delved into Starcraft II, you might want to download the Legacy of the Void release by Reloaded.

Try and see if that helps.

Remember, if you're pirating, always block the Internet connection. If not possible, try to see if you can get a program that blocks the phone home shit.

If not, good day. Smile

EDIT: If you want to play DOS oldies, where the games era gave birth to LAN, you can play Duke Nukem 3D, Doom, and Warcraft II, try DOSBox, an emulator for all intents and purposes. That program kicks ass. Configure the line in the program to IPX = true.

That would allow LAN games to be played in DOSBox.

Hope this helps.

You know, hamsterboy69, I'm glad to hear someone talk about LAN gaming.

It seems that LAN gaming is a lost art, but I'm glad that someone would care about it enough to start a thread.

I will help you with whatever resources available.

It means you can play skirmish on those maps, nothing more.

But why call it multiplayer?

Dude, i have bought them all, and before that i tried what way you can think of playing the pirate way - nothing works. All multiplayer is handled by Battle.net, no unauthorized accounts can play.
Ask skidrow why...maybe they had in mind "skirmish", but wrote multiplayer, their english might suck.
