BTW, the Season Two files from ICWXP are 1080p upgrades, not fills.

Amazing!  Thanks so much!

itsizz, I don't know who you are and I don't know where you come from but I would walk into a volcano with you.

I never collected iRiffs before but man, was I missing out on some first-rate riffing.

Your generous share has changed a life.    Blush

Thanks.  Good to know I have someone to walk through the fire with.  Or... maybe someday have a couple of good beers.  No worries!  I owe so much to all those who shared for me.

Actually itsizz got most of what he's posting from ME ... I actually bought all of the iriffs and was supposed to have started a synching project with him (or her), jonjonjon, and riffling ... but after getting all the iriffs from me they bailed ... so while you are giving out gold stars and kudos ... please give credit where it'd due ... and shame on you itsizz for claiming credit for all the iriff stuff ... and I am NOT being petty I don't like being conned.

AND as a side note I find it ironic that this "CthuluSaves" shows up with folders identically named as the files I shared with j3 and riffling and itsizz ... soooo ... shame on them too if they disappeared and then created a new name and is sharing the stuff I gave them with the understanding of doing a synching ... even though I supplied the iriff and was going to supply the video as well.

TheDarkPrince2018, much of my thanks goes to you too.  I can only stand on top of the shoulders of giants like yourself and I understand your animosity.  My only regret is not being able to give you more than one Reputation point.  Brother, you earned my respect. Smile

Wow.  Just wow.  First of all, I'm not claiming credit.  If you read my post I specifically credited other sharers for what I have.  When you asked for help with this project, I also specifically told you that I would be happy to share the things I had with you (which I did) as well as help organize and share information.  I explicitly stated that I would not have the time nor skill to manually synch riffs.  I understand that you actually spent money on storage and felt frustrated that things did not progress as you wanted; however, you really have no reason to call me out and accuse me and others of conning you.  Methinks you have some misplaced anger and frustration, but don't make me look like I did something wrong.  Weak, man.  Weak.

Let’s be clear here.  This project was begun by another member – not you.  In the beginning this was done in order to create a large amount of iRiffs in order to share them.  Here’s my initial replay to that request, copied and pasted from our messages to each other.
I'm fairly adept at filestructure organization, and I have a fantastic bulk renaming utility.  9 TB is an incredible amount of stuff!  I'm all for helping in any way I can, whether that be uploading, renaming, whatever (although I am not an experienced syncher).  I was recently considering going through and converting all of my files from their various video formats to MP4 simply for universality.  I'll wait on something like that until I see what would be most beneficial.  My next project was to go through and make sure that wherever possible, I was using BSG4U's stuff.  I'll start that this weekend.  Luckily I have gigspeed internet, so I can up and down with some decent speed.
My email is xxxxxxxx.com
Looking forward to working with you all and creating something amazing!

Another reply to your request sent way back on 10/14/18:
OK.  I'm uploading all of the iRiffs you didn't have that you listed.  Sorry for the confusion getting hooked up.
You then said you having trouble getting things typed up due to an injury.  My response on 10/14/18:
Damn.  That does suck.  There's no reason to sit and type if you're hurting, man.  We've got all the time in the world.
You then requested help synching.  My response on 10/18/18:
Gotcha.  I've yet to complete a decent synch.  For the next week I'm slammed pretty hard with some psych assessments and finalizing my dissertation, but after that I can devote some pretty serious time to this project, and perhaps become a wise one in the mystic art of synching....  My first project is going to be to edit the new live short At Your Fingertips: Floats in with the newly discovered Live The Room bootleg that's circulating.  That should pretty much capture the entire live show experience.  It'll be a learning process, but I'll up it to ya'll once it's finished (of course).

TheDarkPrince2018 Wrote:never mind since it seems that the only things I need are all the ones that aren't synched soooooo .... I am a bit frustrated with xxxxxx and xxxxxxx because I uploaded almost all of the iriff library (paid almost 300.00) and all they are interested in is making spreadsheets ... I've had a master list in a text file that works just fine.  I hope I haven't given all that away for nothing.
My reply:
Gotcha.  That does suck.  That is a crap ton of money for storage!  Like I said, I'm happy to try some synching here soon.  We'll see if we can knock it out.  I'm gonna pay my kid a pittance to go and download 720p Fun with Shorts off of Youtube that I don't have, so if you're missing any of those, they'll be available soon.
4 days later I get this from you in my inbox:
I am starting to feel duped as all the focus is on MST3K, official Rifftrax, and Rifftrax Presents ... I did NOT upload 300.00 worth of iRiffs to be delayed, dismissed and ignored.  I am not happy ... the 3 spreadsheets are essentially identical.  That being said, this is NOT what I signed up for.  I wanted to start this to get things synced and THEN uploaded ...whatever.
Finally on 12/12/18 I get this from you:
Did you ever start attempting to synch? It seems xxxxxx and xxxxxx conned me out of all my iriffs and never bothered to synch like they promised ... so they got my hundreds for free and i'm out the money and NO synchs

So, note that from the beginning I shared everything I had, offered to help how I could and stated that I had no synching experience nor time.  I did state I would try to learn to synch upon completion of my dissertation (this doesn’t happen in a month and a half, btw).  I never conned you, cheated you, nor asked you to pay to provide all of that storage.  I’m not identifying nor speaking for the other two parties involved, but I would not be shocked to find out they were surprised and annoyed by your current attitude.

We started this to share stuff with the community.  This was never about “credit,” at least not for me.  Kindly stop attributing your frustrations to me as well as attempting to make me look bad in this forum.  I’m not asking for any credit.  I’m simply sharing stuff – isn’t that the point?

Yeah, try again. Half the damned riffs out there being shared on every site happen to be mine. I'm the founder of the now defunct KitchenSync release group, and I've been in the scene longer than most, over a decade. When Demonoid went down and someone started a new riff forum on KAT I followed over, and that served us well for years until the site went down a few years ago. (That's also when I stopped doing syncs, since bsg4u released a full library of excellent work, making my stuff fairly redundant  --heh, if memory serves, I'm pretty sure he once told me he'd used a few of my audios, but maybe that's just hubris clouding my memory; I'm old). Recently I discovered this forum, and saw that some of the old KAT crowd had migrated over, so I joined.

The folders you're referring to have carried those labels (I always name the folder after the artist) for years, and hadn't been touched for several years until now. If you've shared stuff over the years, sure, maybe something I've got originally came from you, and if so, thanks. But I can almost absolutely guarantee a significant portion of files you have stored away probably originated with me. Sharing goes both ways. Oh, and the folders aren't all identical. I noticed, while going through the big collection above, that some folders were spelled or formatted differently. Not that it's important, but since you brought it up.

Itsizz's share allowed me to catch-up. I had most of it, but hadn't gotten anything new (iRiffs, at least) in almost three years. Apart from keeping up with ICWXP, iRiffs were never really a priority for me. So, getting all those fills was a nice happenstance, as well as being able to separate the stuff I had that wasn't present and return the favor.

Besides, it's never been about who did the sharing. We all benefit, and most contribute when they can.

Created an account to say thank you for sharing these iRiffs!!!

Also thanks to everyone for what they recommend. There are a lot of poor quality iriffs out there so it is great to hear what is good and should be checked out.

I also want to give a shout out to Hor-riff-ic as I think their riffs (as well as the films they select  to riff) are absolutely outstanding. And the Joe Bob Briggs files are awesome too (even if they aren't really riffs)!
