Can anyone out there help my Office 2010 seems to be playing up and some not all documents icons have turned white and when I try to open I get the screen do you want microsoft to find and ans or do it yourself.
Anyone got any suggestions?
I have docs that have been around ages from the 80's and although backed up just wonder whats going on.
Any ideas?

Clean re-install would probably be your best best.
As for backing up your documents, use Google Drive.
You get 15 GB free, to back up all your documents.
You should never keep all your documents on any single drive ~ that's a recipe for disaster.

Yep I have been using Google Drive for some time also each PC has external HD on schedule 24 hour backup and am thinking of getting like a small server I have in excess of 3 TB of movies.
My main concern is my Office 2010 it is perfect for everything I need but it's now getting flakey with the whitepages asking how to deal with them.
My question is has anyone else got this problem and if so how did you get around it?

Office 2010 nests in your C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office14 directory at the root of C:/ (Assuming your not using add-on or external devices).
Go to the above directory, right click on every executable, 1 at a time, associated with what you've installed via 2010.
Select remove from taskbar and remove from start menu or how that appears on your system.
Once you've "un-installed" the icons, re-boot.
