My Private Tunnel free trial does not work

I've installed Private Tunnel a long time ago, when they offered 100MB for free, and I used it all up in one day, it was too little allowance to know if their service is worth the money.

Next time I cleaned all the files installed by the app in OSX, and then I reinstalled it and I created a new account, and its seems they give now 500MB for free. But I can't use this allowance, it takes forever to connect to the server.

Its either I'm stupid or they use some technique to ban multiple free trials.

- I think its not the IP banned, as I tried it from different IP addresses.
- Do you have any idea of what could it be, or can you try to use two accounts from the same computer and check if its working ?

- Actually I haven't tried to use a virtual machine, I just got this idea now.

I cannot say for sure, but maybe the information that you have already used their free-trial is stored in some of your browser-cache. What I would suggest is to delete all of your browser-cache and then try to re-take their free-trial. In case you maybe do not even know what browser-cache is, then I would recommend you to download the program CCleaner and run it on your computer. But before running it, you should better unmark all of the lines whose names are unknown for you, so you would not delete something you do not want to. Even though you probably cannot delete anything significant, you can delete few types of browser-data what you have made during the-period-of-time you have used your browser.

Another thing we should not completely ignore is that this could be also an issue on the service's side.
