I'm installing AVG A/V Pro 2014. Give me a few mins and i'll see if i can figure out the exceptions

Options ==>> Advanced settings... ==>> Exceptions ==>> Add exception ==>> Exception type ==>> Folder
Browse to your downloads folder. Select it and hit OK.

It's possible that e.g. When you download a torrent which contains a crack or key-gen. You'll need to repeat the process but this time the exception will be for the key-gen or crack (file instead of folder) to protect it from being deleted after download.
