Movie Ratings

Hey,

Like most of you (hopefully), I find there is nothing more frustrating than some TWAT who comments on a release with A/10 V/10 FOR A CAM. So I am curious if there is a legit list of what 10/10 should be? I once saw one on the comments of a video and have since lost it.

The best I could think of is this:

  1. Potato
  2. Cam
  3. TS
  4. HDTS
  5. DVDScr
  6. HDTV
  7. DVDRip
  8. ???
  9. ????
  10. Bluray

I guess the other spaces would probably have something to do with the amount and quality of compression?

There is (and can be) no such list.

If someone somewhere (such as you, here) created an "official" list, everyone everywhere wouldn't magically be aware of it and follow it religiously. So, since you can never know whether any given posted score is "accurate", you're best bet is to totally ignore any that are posted. Particularly when you also consider that anyone posting them obviously hasn't got a clue about how useless they are--and such fools would probably get them wrong anyway.

Oh, and don't download cams or TS's. They are always crap, some are more crap than others but crap is crap.

The ratings are useless unless theyre to say if a movie is real or fake. Best way is to download the sample.

and to all the uploaders up there who plan on uploading cams, TS or where you re-do one to get better quality, if youre going to take time to rip and upload movies, include a sample. It will win you points in coolness.
