Thank you once again joots22!

So does anyone here even have the official release of the "RiffTrax Animated Intro"?
http://www.rifftrax.com/rifftrax-animated-intro

I know I could just use a video editing program to cut it out of the beginning of a newer movie that contains the full version, but it would be really nice to have the official release in our collections for posterity. Since it's only about a minute, even the "HD High 1080p" version is a pretty small file (135.36 MB), and it's only $0.99.

By the way, I managed to find a slightly higher quality version of this if anyone wants it...

Signal 30 (Excerpt) - MP4 (8.26 MB)
https://mega.nz/#!q8VB0ICZ!qAcvmZg2_7rFx...R_mdvhMhT4

Runtime: 3:09
Video Resolution: 352x264
Audio Bit Rate: 107 kbps
Channels: Stereo

This is the version that joots22 uploaded.

Signal 30 (Excerpt) - AVI (7.40 MB)

Runtime: 3:10
Video Resolution: 320x240
Audio Bit Rate: 64 kbps
Channels: Mono

The AVI file was clearly downloaded from this YouTube video -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fFd3hqO4mzE ... but the MP4 above seems to have been compressed from the original video source. I already know most of the back story of this release and why it was removed, but according to the RiffTrax Signal 30 poster (Google it), the original file was clearly in the DivX format. Does anyone have the original DivX video file? Was there actually a full release page with a hilarious description from MKB? I love saving those descriptions if anyone has it. I've also heard conflicting reports that it was a free download and/or emailed to everyone on the RiffTrax mailing list. Since I missed out on the initial release over 9 years ago, it would be interesting to know. Thanks! Smile

You could just take the animated intro off of one of the VODs that includes it. Or you could try to dl it off youtube through a service like "kiss" youtube.
