I've always looked at Christmas as being a happy time even if you discount the capitalism behind it. If you're in school or have a job, you get those days off.

It's given me a chance to see that family is important, and although I live with my mother, and have no others to celebrate with, I feel fortunate that we can eat a meal together and enjoy it.

It's kind of like Thanksgiving in a way.

I am not a proper Catholic or even Christian, but I know Christ is the reason for the season!
