Was anyone else kinda disappointed with this one?
Like, I dunno. Maybe I was just tired or something, but it didn't seem as good as I had hoped it'd be.

It didn't help that up until that last segment it wasn't much of a reunion and more of a meet up of the various current Riff groups each doing a riff of their own. I'll admit that I didn't bother watching the Girls and Guys of Rifftrax because almost all of their riffs were repeats of ones I have d/led and seen. The all star end riffs were probably worth it though, and I enjoyed watching Joel and 'the new guy' have a go at a short. And it was nice if not overly funny watching Trace and Frank out there.

I watched MST3k reunion beamed to a local theater and also just rewatched it again. My favorite part was and still is Trace and Frank. I saw them in North Carolina live as the Mads; they riffed Ed Wood's Glen or Glenda and they were amazing!

(PS - the Shake Hands With Danger sketch in the Reunion show, IMO, is infinitely superior to the short by itself from years ago. and as long as i'm giving my opinion, such is the opposite with the What Is Grass short -- infinitely better on the Reefer Madness Live show)
