Looking for help with HTML

Hello, I have made a list of PC games that I find interesting in alphabetical order and published it at blogger.
I was able to make jump links by using anchor tags, so when you click on a letter between A to Z, you jump to the list of games starting with the respective letter.
The only problem I have now is that adding other games to the list has become tedious because of the mess of HTML code.

Question
Is there an easy way of creating some kind of mask in HTML, where I can enter the following:

• Type of game
  
• Title of the game
  
• Year of release
  
• Size of game
  
• GOG, if existing
  

After putting in this information, it should then add itself automatically to the list.
I'm not able to do that so that's why I ask if anybody is able and willing to help.

HTML is a markup language (hence the M in HTML) and doesn't incorporate any kind of dynamic technology.

You can use something else to generate HTML from a list.

For example, if you maintained the list in a text file or spreadsheet, you could use something to read that and generate the HTML.

Or, if blogger allows you to use javascript, you could maintain the titles in a simple JS list and the page can be generated dynamically.

You could probably use Word, but the HTML it generated would be pretty ugly.

This is the kind of thing databases and languages like PHP were designed for, but I'm guessing that isn't an option with blogger.

I am not sure what you are referring to... You mean some form to complete and after you submit it, to appear on the list? I think you'll need PHP, AJAX and a small database.

Ok I will check if an XML file can be used for that or javascript may be another option.

Yes, that's right. I will try digging for javascript, it won't be easy I guess.

XML is just HTML's big brother. If you are comfortable with XML, then you will be fine continuing to do it in HTML.
