Man I just rewatched this riff over Christmas...totally holds up and is just never not hilarious!  Even funnier that Joe Don wanted to beat up the MST3K guys for it as well, haha.

Did the original not come out on DVD? Also I think it's widescreen although not sure, on prime.

Yeah it came out via Warner Archive Collection and it was widescreen. GaryInMotion's version used that iirc, you can find it in bsg's thread

Thanks, billy. Got it, and it looks great. My new wish is someone marry the GaryInMotion widescreen version to Shadowrama and the host segments. Someone was doing that heavy lifting to some eps not long ago, but I haven't seen anything recently.

I threw together a sync with a higher quality encode, its around 4x the bitrate of gary's so it looks a bit better on a bigger screen. There were a couple of weird differences between the video gary used and the actual DVD, not sure what the cause was but i corrected them. I'll get it up sometime, who knows when
