Ukraine’s application for EU membership under the accelerated procedure has been accepted, registered and is being considered, Head of the Office of the Ukrainian President Andrey Yermak said on Tuesday.
"Yesterday, [President] Zelensky signed Ukraine’s application for EU membership under an accelerated procedure. [It] has been accepted and registered," Yermak stated on his Twitter page.
The head of the president’s office noted that Zelensky planned to make a video message to the European deputies on Tuesday.
