If you're talking about the Monstervision episodes, there is almost no dups. Yes there are movie dups, but the parts with Joe Bob are different. They replayed the same movie many times, but it had new parts from Joe Bob. I downloaded them all for my Plex and only saw a few dups. There is NOT a shit ton of duplicates.

I wonder if they are counting the Crywolf edits combined with runrunbill's when they say duplicates.

Yeah I am pretty sure he just doesn't fully realize what he's talking about. There were only like a couple RunRunBill edits that he re-did to fix a couple issues with the original encodes/edits, but other than that it's stuff from Crywolf23 in one folder and the other separated by the months they came out. And usually when it's new he puts something like "fixed edit" in the file title. All due respect, check again kind sir Vulgar.

Ungrateful!
Also you seem to be the only one with this issue... Does that tell you something??
I'm not being ungrateful, I'm just informing. How many times do I thank you in my 6 posts? Have you or anyone else that's downloaded them added them to a plex server and then manually gone through and matched each entry to a movie database? That's the only reason I know for sure there are duplicates. This is across two different times downloading it, does that tell you something? Here are the duplicates I can remember: The Friday the 13th marathon, Phantasm II, Little Shop of Horrors, The Fury, The Gruesome Twosome, Fit to Kill, and Smokey and the Bandit II. Again not trying to sound ungrateful at all because believe me I'm very grateful to have this. Some of these files aren't exactly small, so I figured it should be known that there are duplicates.

Most of those are "fixed" or updated from previous versions or encodes if memory serves me right. I know I watched Little Shop of Horrors and Smokey II for sure and they got updated later on with corrected edits.

I notice that Joe Bob Briggs did a commentary for I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE: DEJA VU (2019) recently. I'm sure eventually that will go into the appropriate folder. Lord knows everything else has.
A decade ago I never would have imagined the return of Joe Bob, and I definitely never would have imagined digitally-remastered host segments of old MONSTERVISION episodes. This stuff makes my long-hung-onto copies of old VHS episodes look like poo-poo. I appreciate the work that goes into this (both from fans and from superfan Darcy).

Just an FYI, on the Patreon, Darci did drop some duplicates because she improved the Joe Bob segments or found better copies. So you might see 2 items in an early month and then a repeat of it later on.

I don't think you are being ungrateful. But you have to realize that Darcy on her Patreon actually put up repeats herself at least 2-3 times, because she came out with better Joe Bob quality on segments. Runrunbill is basically putting everything Darcy puts up per month, whether its a repeat or not.
The Friday the 13th Marathon is definitely because Runrunbill fixed the quality of the original.
I can only speak to Monstervision as I am not grabbing the other Joe Bob stuff.

I did quite extensively match each one to The TVDB to import into my Plex and only found duplicate runrunbill edits where as others have mentioned (fixed edits or different quality.) The Bluray edits do contain episodes that were also posted to the Patreon so there would be duplicates there.

i saw someone mention the Friday the 13th marathon specifically as having been replaced with newer copies. the first round's hosting segments have buzzy/crackly audio from, i assume, the vhs tapes they'd been stored on. i then located the newer versions dated as being modded 8/28 and added 8/31 (very last folder on the mega page). logic would dictate these are the "improved" versions since they are newer files, but they still seem to have the same audio issues. can anyone clarify that these two marathon sets are the only ones available at the moment?

On page 17 of this very thread RunRunBill states the updated files were to correct an aspect ratio issue from the TVRips. So an issue with the movies and not the host segments. These were also, being F13 and host segments being available to fans before the Patreon, a set of films that have been widely available for ages. I made edits of them myself from DVD rips. I'm pretty sure (though not certain) that these latest ones from RRB used the blu-rays, just going off pic quality at a glance.
