It's always the fault of the fucking drugs !

So I've been working for 2 months on a project for a client.   The deal was half-upfront and half upon completion.

I'm 97% finished and the bitch is now in jail.  She got stoned and molested a 12 year old boy!

When the police came to arrest her they found illegal drugs, stolen property and it looks like she's been stealing money from her business partners.

All of this means I'm not going to get paid!

Every time I've been screwed over on my money it's always been the fault of the coccaine, heroine and even pot crackies!

These fucking druggies also always come with a list of immpecable clients and moral pillars who vouch for their integrity and good business ethics.
Sorry, but they're all probably damn addicts too !   Seems like the only people doing business these days are the fucking junkies!

I need that money!   Now I'm going to go on a diet and sleep with 2 extra blankets just to cover my bills !

FUCKING.... FUCKING... FUCKING JUNKIES !!

If it's possible it's good to divide the deal to smaller stages of example 25% job done - 25% payment - and ALWAYS upfront.

True, but it is better to have a motivator.  Like a clause that states that if full payment is not received in full X days from notification of completion, all copyright or other rights to the content become yours.

Failure to pay means that I haven't transfered my rights as the creator.  The problem is, what the hell am I going to do with the crap?   I want the money and not the shit sitting on a drive.

I should have mentioned that it's mainstream Hollywood that always screws me over on my money.   If I'm going to get messed over, then it's allways the respectable people who do it to me.

I've yet to have any porn industry people or companies not pay me.  In fact, I'm often given more than the agreed upon amount for the quality of my work.
