Anyway to post this to Mega? kinda wary of Torrents ever since last January when my cable company caught me using torrents.

No matter what cable, phone or net access company you use, it not that you get "caught" using torrents, it's primarily that you were caught down/uploading a SPECIFIC torrent title, usually a new blockbuster release still in theaters. You shouldn't be wary of torrenting whatsoever, the so-called sheriffs out there are policing certain titles that production companies are paying them to bust, and the warning notices issued are, for the most part, unenforceable (until they want to make an example of some poor schmuck with a million dollar fine and get some media attention to toss a little scare out there).

Indeed, use a VPN and/or seedbox and you're perfectly fine. I've gotten 2 or 3 nastygrams by now (forgetting to turn my VPN on and shit like that...), and I laugh and throw it away each time.

This. You have nothing to worry about at all unless you go after like the three biggest movie releases of the year, you only need to tread lightly if you're camming Infinity War or something.

Occasionally, you can get dinged for something that isn't current. I got popped for torrenting albums by The Art of Noise from the 80's and 90's. But, generally, they're looking for current stuff.
