Is it possible to edit a torrent?
#1
I am new to creating and seeding torrents (new to strictly seeding, I always seed when I download other torrents) and I have made a few with my account. The first one I made doesn't have the .torrent file downloadable to others, which is the way I want it, but the subsequent torrents do have the .torrent file as a downloadable link. Is there something I'm overlooking when I create these? How do I exclude .torrent files from being downloadable?

Also, is it possible to edit the comments and titles of the torrent files and/or pages? I found more information I want to put in. Or will I need to delete the old torrent and create a new torrent if I want to make any changes?

The download link for the torrent files is automatically removed when the swarm has 10+ peers in it. If that number drops to 10 or less, it will automatically return.

If you have additional information you wish to add, just add it as a comment.

What if I forget to paste picture code, and it is one of the most frequent mistakes? Something should be done in order to editing of a torrent/comments become more user friendly. In this area TPB is in a Bronze Age...

Think of it as a learning curve. If you put the time and effort into posting your fuck up. Then put the time and effort into getting it correct. It's not rocket science Wink

We had the "edit option" way back ,but removed it for safety reasons. Many hacked accounts were used to manipulate and spam/advertise all kind of crap. Some hacked accounts were also wiped out and all torrents deleted. So,to quote you on this -->> In this area TPB is in a Bronze Age... <<-- Definitely NOT! So, how do I do if I have changed my mind and want to delete a torrent?
There is a delete button, but it doesn't work.

You can request your torrent be deleted in Account Issues. Name the thread after your username, vaildate you're the owner of the tpb account by completing the verification boxes at the top of the page, and provide the torrent link with info hash.
