Is it possible to download Arabic versions of a movie but with english subtitles?

Yeah. just get the English subtitles and a version of the movie that has Arabic audio, normally off the web in SRT format.

EDIT: And when you play them in VLC, just put the English subtitle on by clicking on the Subtitles menu and click add to add the English SRT file.

Are you able to get the Arabic version of whatever movie you want to play?

You might want to request an Arabic version of a movie in the Requests section; it should be possible to get a movie that is in an audio of one of the world's most dominant languages.

I am not Arabic, so I am not privy to the details. Sorry.

I thought that I would probably do better with an Arabic torrent site. 

But I'm not sure there are any Arabic torrent sites and I'm not very good at writing arabic so I can't find one if it exists.

I don't know how close Farsi is to the general Arabic tongue, but you might want to hit these guys up for a few pointers.

from a screenshot on a random torrent I see there are english subs, but maybe that's not for all movies and just a few have english subs
