Is India Really Forging numbers ?
#1
Due to pandemic, it has been said by notable institutions say that GDP and death rate due to pandemics are being forged. Is it true ?

Only those counting know the truth.

Correct question is: why wouldn't they forge the numbers?

Why would they? What do they gain by pretending hundreds of thousands of their people are dying? Do you think the Indian government would see this as good for them? What would their motivation be?

Political and economic reasons. Deaths count modifies their position in summits and the flow of capital within market, whether it's internal, inbound/outbound. I can't answer exactly how as I'm a small fish but it's obvious why would they do it. And that applies not only to India but to any other country when it comes to coronavirus. I'm not judging anyone. It's a rational point of view.

Deaths counts do that only if they're real. If they're inflated it'll be reflected in the market because you can't just remove them from society to hide the fact that they're actually alive.

This leads to an interesting event that is going to happen in a few months. Eventually the final mortality numbers for total deaths in the US for 2020 will be calculated. Total number of people who died last year compared to 2019 and 2018. We have a huge chunk of people who are saying that we lost half a million people last year. Another chunk of people say we didn't. They were all called covid related when they weren't. Eventually we will know two important facts. How many more people actually died last year vs the year before. If that number turns out to be 400 to 500 k, then the next question is how did the people who DIDN'T die from covid die? If those numbers (people who died in car accidents, cancer, lung disease, heart disease, etc) were basically the same as the year before, the argument that covid deaths were inflated melt away. If they didn't die from covid, did the extra deaths die from cancer? What did they die from to account for a 400 to 500 thousand increase in deaths from 2019 to 2020? If not covid, what?
