I've got family in Oregon and my brother in law says he saw a Big Foot when he was 8.
Maybe it's real. There is a lot of wilderness still in North America

Biology rules against it.
You need a decent sized breeding population for any species to exist for long.
Tigers, for example require a minimum of around 400.
For something the size of an anthropoid ape, each would require about a square mile for forage.
The probabilities of a Giganthropus population surviving the the pacific northwest are about zero, as discovery and capture would have been a certainty by now.
There was a report, and photos of a neandertthal girl caught in siberia a century ago. But without testing she might have been a genetic throwback as sometimes occurs, and possibly abandoned by her human family. (Actually, probably Denisovan).
