Inventor 2014 Pro (Updates and How to Install Them)
#1
Yes I know I could have got the student edition, but I wanted a perpetual version instead of a 4 year license. My questions are:

1. Will installing updates break the cracked version?
2. If so is there any procedure for updating?
3. Where do updates install? I am trying to keep most of Inventor off of C: and keep it in D:, since SSDs have limited space.

Thanks in advance for your help! Smile

EDIT: the only thing about updating I found was this " every time autodesk updates a sp, two files,(adlmact.dll & adlmactlibFNP.dll) locate in C rogrammiCommon FilesAutodesk SharedAdLMR7 would be updated, so you just need to find the original version of this two files from the install file " But I am not sure how accurate this is.

Well for future reference I updated it and it did not break anything, it has left many residual files on C: however. I did not have to replace adlmact.dll and adlmactlibFNP.dll (Flexnet license manager?) to make it work but replacing them did not change anything either.
