I am currently working on writing about MST3K for my intro to writing class, and I have to write about two sides of a story. if anyone can help me find good sources of why people don't like or dislike MST3K. I am currently reading the In the Peanut Gallery book but its hard to find information about disliking Riffing movies.

you have picked literally the worst place in the world to find people who don't like Riffing movies. It would be easier to go to George Lucas's house to find people who don't like sci fi movies.

some of the people who were riffed on didn't appreciate it so much. Rick Sloane didn't like how personal they got with insulting him. George Woodard was pretty vehement with his disgust for riffing. Flora Gordon and Susan Gordon also didn't think highly of how Bert I Gordon was treated. and there's always been a rumor that Joe Don Baker was quite angry at the MST3K treatment of Mitchell (though some say he was likely just joking).

I did not know what all of this was about and had to google.
I saw a short piece of a clip in a random movie, someone was commenting "this movie hates us" and an added banjo sound was playing and some more dumbass comments followed.
Who enjoys that? I don't like people talking over content that I'm interested in, especially the first time I consume it.
That is one reason I don't go to the cinema any more, because there is always some retards talking loud about the movie as if they are home with their nerd friends watching Starwars for the 57th time commenting everything.
