Releasing a software RIP is very easy and needs no cracking skills.
If you have purchased software, give back to the community by releasing it as a torrent.
Alot of software (especially addons) requires activation during the installation, once the software is installed, there are no license/activation checks, so this means you can supply the files to anyone to use.
Step 1)
Get yourself a program called Crystal Idea Uninstall tool, and install that on your system
Step 2)
Right click on your installer file, and you will see a new option now "Install and Trace"
Step 3)
Run through the install normally, when the install is completed, install tracker will pop up and show you the log and an option to "save log" click save log and save the file somewhere.
Step 4)
Open that log file, its a simple text file that tells you everything the installer did, an example looks like this:
12:10:21 Create Folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\ORBX
12:10:21 Create Folder C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\ORBX\Scripts
12:10:22 Create File C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\ORBX\water_detailR30.bmp
12:10:22 Create File C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\ORBX\water_detailR31.bmp
12:10:22 Create File C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3\ORBX\water_detailR32.bmp
You then need to go through and copy all those files and folders (keeping the same folder structure) into a new folder, zip it up and you are done.
You can test it, by uninstalling the software, then try and copy and paste your RIP, it should work the same as it did before.
..and don't worry, no-one will ever be able to see your serial number by doing this.
