:: How to Use a Seedbox/ Cloud Storage [i.e. BayFiles] to Seed Torrents? ::

Hello!

While I've found THIS tutorial to be very helpful, I'd like to know how to create a .Torrent file that directs to files hosted on either a Seedbox or Cloud Storage service. I can't afforded to seed the torrent 24/7, and I'd like to use a solution that offers better connectivity/ reliability. Is it possible to use a service like BayFiles to host the files? How is that done? Are there free alternatives?

I'm new to torrents, but very competent with technology. A relatively detailed/ organized tutorial for hosting/ seeding files online for distribution via .Torrent would be greatly appreciated.

I think a bit of research on both seedboxes and "cloud" storage would clear this up for you, there is a lot that can be said about what "cloud" is and is not, and how that might be applicable to this situation. As for the seedboxes, it is more or less exactly as that tutorial mentions, but the uTorrent is hosted on a remote machine, accessed via your web browser. So imagine uTorrent just being in a tab, with faster internet and more space. You can create the torrents just as in the tutorial, then push them to a seedbox before or during release to help speeds. There are a variety of seedbox providers/hosts, offering their own varieties of services and options.

I've done a little more research. I currently have access to a Domain/ Hosting account on GoDaddy w/ unlimited traffic/ bandwidth. I've set up an FTP client with FileZilla, but could someone provide some help on how to use this account/ server to seed files?

This should all be rather upfront and simple, but "Web Seeds" don't appear to work via uTorrent. I'm also not using any Trackers, since TPB applies its own after indexing the .Torrent file. Is there a particular way that the file structure should be arranged?

Any suggests would be greatly appreciated!

If you need help, i can install ruTorrent on your server.
ruTorrent is almost like uTorrent, but ruTorrent is the most popular and best bittorrent client to use on a server.
you can create torrents and such stuff, seed and download torrent, yea you know like all the things you can do in uTorrent.

Im not sure it can be done with your hosting account on Godaddy, you need root or sudo access to the server to install things. Not sure if you get that from Godaddy.

I forgot about ruTorrent! I almost certain that I have access to the server root with my hosting account. I'll look into that further. Thanks for the help, guys.
