How common are virus packets?

Just wondeirng, avast calls almost all as adware.

Virus packets are common for those who are careless of their network's security. The following can give you virus packets that effect the efficiency of your network.

• Downloading Trojans/malware
  

• Using a unsafe proxy
  

• P2P in various forms
  

• Just by being a klutz on the Internet
  

Its better to be safe then sorry, if you suspect such activity, use the following programs to snuff out bad packets.
